Longhorns are number one! Hook ‘em horns! Sadly, they are not expected to stay number one simply because they’ve played their toughest games and the rest of their season is against poorer teams. But we’ll enjoy it while it lasts and then they’ll win at the Rose Bowl and be officially number one! On a more cheerful note (see earlier post), Turner Classic Movies (TCM) is running Alfred Hitchcock movies all week! To bad I missed them all tonight! If you’re in suspense (ha-ha) check out their scheduled Hitchcock movies. I’ll be watching. …you need a computer! I have spent most of the evening trying to get the compression software, specifically StuffIt Deluxe 8.5 for Windows, on my computer to work! I have run the repair feature, I have uninstalled—this caused other problems and I had to run System Restore, then I had to uninstall again, then I [...] I watched Being Julia after a friend recommended it. I was bored. I’m not sure if I was bored because I watched the movie in bits and pieces over several days or if the movie was just boring. Here’s how I’d break the movie down: Annette Bening (a friend’s former babysitter) as Julia: Very good. License plate spotted today: OH WHY ME It just made me smile. You too, maybe? Well, actually, my house is several pounds lighter—or rather, there are fewer pounds left in the house. I’ve been de-cluttering! I hate de-cluttering, but I like the results of it.
