They are selling yet another edition of their wonderful 1995/6 Pride and Prejudice TV mini-series. Yes, another version! Just as there are multiple big and little screen adaptations of Jane Austen’s masterpiece, A&E has sold multiple versions of the adaptation they co-produced with the [...] It’s Sunday evening, the Tony’s are the only thing on TV, I haven’t finished reading the Sunday newspaper, my Internet connection isn’t there, and the weekend is almost over…why? Point to ponder: The Sunday newspapers are always bloated with extra sections and hundreds of advertisement sections. The Sunday papers are available at the newsstands and stores [...] OK, sorry, corrupting my blog with pure gossip here, but this was too wild to pass up! Am I reading this correctly? To quote: "The happy couple (Tom Cruise / Katie Holmes) and their lawyers have come up with a contract that Legos seem to be ever where lately! I’ve seen friends children playing with Legos. I’ve read blogs about Legos. And the Chicago Tribune recently had an article about this Lego portrait builder. Legos come in Batman kits, Star Wars kits, Harry Potter kits, Bionicles, sports or city themed kits, and even Thomas the Tank Engine [...] I’m not an Altoids gal…they burn holes in my mouth…but this gadget might convert me. It’s a battery charger for iPods made in an Altoids Chewing Gum tin. I kid you not! Take a look here. Now, if only I was electronically skilled enough to 1) verify it wouldn’t hurt my iPod and 2) to make [...] Without a doubt, my first comment about the movie Just Like Heaven is…I WANT THAT APARTMENT!!!!! Even if I can’t have the wonderful view (San Francisco) that’s in the movie, I still want the apartment with all it’s wonderful, beautiful, wood moldings and the garden roof. That aside, on to the movie itself. Just Like Heaven [...] In the past I told you how you could write like Jane (as in Austen, of course). Now here’s a link for you to paint like Jackson Pollock.
