Life has been so hectic something had to give…lately it’s ended up being this blog. But I’ve been wanting to blog about so many things. I don’t remember what we did in gym that particular day, but later that year we spent weeks practicing for the Fifth Grade Gymnastics show. Yes, I know, sound ridiculous and it was. Otherwise known as the day Jimmy Carter became President of the United States. I was in fifth grade the day this happened and attended a school almost kitty-corner from my home. My mother called the school [...] Tonight I took down the Christmas tree. I detest taking down the Christmas decorations. Sigh. It’s just so depressing. I crank up the Christmas music and sing at the top of my lungs to keep my spirits up. I took the tree down because some of the lights were burned out.
