Last night’s Oscars telecast included a humorous reunion of the leads from last summer’s hit The Devil Wears Prada. Anne Hathaway and Emily Blunt were co-presenting an award when they started interacting with Meryl Streep, who sat in the audience.
Clearly the first part of this is scripted, but I’m not sure if Streep’s involvement and her "devil’s Prada" glare was planned or simply an example of Streep’s superb acting skills. UPDATE: Sadly, the Academy has told YouTube to remove all clips from the Oscars, so this humorous bit is no longer available. Fools! Don’t they recognize free publicity when it’s right there playing in front of them?
