What ever happened to saying "on the left" when you’re going to pass somebody? I used to bike ride a lot and we’d always call out "on the left" if we were going to pass somebody. That was a nice friendly way of saying, "stop hogging the bike route and get over to the side so [...] Driving home tonight I saw a group of people playing Wii Sports Bowling using the house as a screen! They must have hooked the Wii console to a projector and were bowling on a 15 foot by 15 foot Wii image on the side of their house. What a hoot! It looked fun…I was tempted to [...] Foyle’s War returns to U.S. television via the PBS network this coming Sunday evening. That’s June 17, but be sure to check your local listings. WTTW, the primary PBS station in the Chicago area, will be airing Foyle’s War the next four Sunday nights at 8:00 P.M. local time. Excellent! If you’re interested in other Mystery! shows [...] I tried to post a movie of the 17-year cicadas invasion to YouTube, but it isn’t there. They have a notice up saying they are having much higher than normal traffic volume, so don’t repost, just give them time. I’ve given them over an hour, how much time do they need before they admit it [...]
I finally saw and heard (oh my) the 17-year cicadas, but I had to go to my brother’s house to do it. I’ll try to post more about this later…the sound was astounding. Seems like just the other day I was commenting on the standard and deluxe artwork of the U.S. editions of the Harry Potter books. Scholastic, the U.S. publisher, must have heard me because today they’ve released images of the deluxe edition artwork.

The question is: Whose medical concerns? She been in jail a few days and I suggest that was enough to damage the sanity of her guards. She might have been released to protect them. Zooomr has finally been up long enough for me to update my Missy vs. Reggie post from the other day with some pictures. They are images of Reggie trying to get on the table in the 3-season room. You’ll notice that he’s trying to maneuver around the ottoman I put on the table to block [...] The Detroit Free Press has published an article on Mary GrandPré, the artist for the U.S. versions of the Harry Potter books. Here’s a link. Unlike you and me, she’s already read book 7! Lucky her! Even the British artist does not get to read the book prior to release date.
