"Oh yeah. Libby says 'hi'." ABC re-ran last season’s final episode of LOST tonight. I was working and I only watched a few minutes of it, but that was sufficient for a big belly laugh! They decided to include fake Closed Captioning on the bottom of the screen…actually, they were more like those pop-up bubbles containing trivia, tidbits, and such, but [...] So last night I brain dumbed about the latest LOST episode. I mentioned that Hurley is seen reading the manuscript for Bad Twin by Gary Troup. Dude, want to read what Hurley was reading? The book is suddenly available on Amazon.com. Since Amazon likes to let people see inside the books they sale, I decided to [...] I should have seen it coming. All the clues were there. At first on LOST tonight, I thought Ana (or is it Anna?) did it. But that was too obvious. And then there was the whole thing with tonight’s flashbacks about Sawyer and long cons. And just yesterday I was discussing the stereotyping of pairing [...] Finally! Finally LOST seems to be re-achieving last season’s winning form! It’s taken way too long, but finally some good episodes, but still some problems: Why would anyone take Sawyer/James out into the jungle on a search and rescue effort? He’s been shot, he’s weak, he slows down Jack and Locke, but by all means, bring [...] Finally! FINALLY! Finally a good episode of LOST. And the cherry on top…the preview for next week’s episode about Kate looks good also! However, the preview could be a set up; not as if they haven’t done that before. The teaser for next week starts with weak, ill, and wounded Sawyer mumbling "I love her." Jack [...] (Possible spoiler.) A main character was supposed to die on I knew that Murder, She Wrote had them. I knew Lara Croft: Tomb Raider had them (In fact my friend, E. E. Knight wrote one. Check out his other novels too, like this one—the first in his own debut series.) I knew Star Trek had lots and lots of them. But I didn’t know the [...] It sure seems like it! This was easily one of their worst episodes! Was this supposed to be suspenseful? Or just more set up…three episodes of set up is pretty worthless. What idiot would push the button—boring! The only reason to push that button was to force characters in later episodes to keep pushing [...] |
