Here’s what it looked like at 8:30′ish: Raging Winds and Snows. Then it got worse and I wasn’t going to stick my camera out the door!

Since we [...] Last year I shared a picture of the huge snow elephant some people built. The same people, about 1.5 blocks from my parent’s home, built a snow dog and bone this year. Wow!
Snow Dog with his Bone My parents took me to see an elephant today. This is about 1.5 blocks from my parent’s home. It’s apparently been on the local news, but I never saw it. I wish I had seen it before it started to melt; nevertheless, it’s still very impressive! I’m afraid it will be completely gone in a few [...] You may think that it is April. I may think that it is April. We all might be thinking April showers. …but we all be wrong, baby. It be WINTER! [...] …we have plenty! This was one of the most difficult snows to clear off the driveway…there was lots of it and it was wet and heavy. In some places, like below, it was taller than my snow thrower! Reggie both loves and hates the snow…loves to play in it, hates to have it cleaned off. (Click the [...] I haven’t posted in so long I think there is mildew growing on my previous blog…not that I’m implying anything about Her Majesty you understand! Life has been crazy, crazy busy! Work, birthday, work, Thanksgiving, work, visiting friends, work, work, work. Things finally slowed down a bit yesterday…but I had to work again at 7:00 P.M. [...] As I reported here last year, we always, always, always have wretched weather on Halloween in Chicagoland. Let’s face it, we don’t have the greatest weather most of the year: cold-rainy springs, hot-humid summers (and this year it was rainy too), nippy-icy winters, but autumn…we usually have nice autumns. We call them Indian Summers as [...] Even though I did not enjoy driving home in last Friday night’s snow storm, I did enjoy the beauty Saturday morning. While I was outside shoveling, I snapped a few pics. (By the way, my friend E. E. Knight did the same. His pictures are here.) Below and in the extended blog are my pics. [...] I had a lovely, sarcastic, poetic, sweetly, ranting blog for this evening… …then I found out I was wrong. I had to delete the blog before I could even post.
